Opal Masters – Queen Amon-Ra L, presented a brief history on the gay Krewe of Amon-Ra to the New Orleans City Council for the Krewe’s 50th Anniversary, and received a proclamation for overcoming diversity, creativity, endurance and sustaining a unique piece of New Orleans’ culture!
