His artwork has continued to garner the attention of admirers and collectors throughout the United States. He continues to produce new works, including commissions, and maintains a clientele of private and corporate collectors.

John is influenced by his New Orleans culture and heritage, namely Mardi Gras. The human form is the common thread running throughout his body of work and the subject for which he is most known and appreciated.
